At 08:00 am Pick up from your Hotel in Ica to dive into the desert of Ica Peru.

A few years ago, a group of SUV drivers got lost and discovered the impressive Cañon de los Perdidos - in the middle of the desert. The weather phenomenon El Niño brings heavy flooding every four years, making the Canyon deeper into the earth. A fascinating place that takes our breath away! But not only the ride through the boundless vastness is impressive, even the visit to Ocucaje. A place like the wild west, the wind is sweeping the sand across the street, a few shadows whiz along with the mud huts. But in Ocucaje, the desert hides an ingenious secret: whale fossils. Long ago, this place was not a desert, this place was an ocean, it was water. Here whales and other marine animals swam. Precisely for this reason, researchers found the skeletons of whales in the desert sand, piece by piece they are excavated today and exhibited in the small local museum.
