Day1 - Sacred Valley Tour: Pisac - Ollantaytambo
After breakfast at your hotel, our representative will pass by your hotel to pick up between 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. then you will continue to the picturesque town of Pisac, in about 50 minutes driven we will arrive in this town, short ride 25 more minutes up to Pisac archeological site. Here you will participate in the guided tour, visiting all its holy places including terraces, aqueducts, paths that are associated with walls and gates, water channels, cemeteries, bridges, etc. After we will continue to Pisac local Market where you can purchase beautifully crafted products hand-made by the locals. Your next destinations will be the remains of Ollantaytambo Fortress and the Temple of the Sun, a mysteriously built structure with a massive 12 foot (3.5m) tall stones. Then on the way back to Cusco, we will stop in Chinchero village, where you will participate in a short guided tour, you will visit the main square and see an ancient church with unique floral and religious interior designs.
Finally, the bus will continue to Cusco city, the tour will finish close to the main plaza (Plaza de Armas)
Note: Travelers who are going to Machu Picchu the same afternoon by train, let us know in advance to coordinate with the guide to drop you off at the train station.
Tickets: Make sure you bring cash soles to buy your tourist ticket to visit Pisac and Ollantaytambo, this you can buy at the first point of the visit, this means in Pisac the cost is 70 Peruvian soles
