Day1 - International Arrival in Lima
On your landing in Lima, you will be welcomed by our staff with a sign of Go Get Peru and your name, then you will be escorted to your hotel located in Miraflores district; today no planned activities. If you arrive in the morning use the rest of the day to walk through Miraflores, we recommend walk by Larcomar and enjoy the view to the Pacific Ocean, then by Parque del Amor.

Day2 - Flight Lima to Cusco – Transfer to the Sacred Valley
After breakfast in Lima hotel, at scheduled time pick up and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be assisted by your guide, then you will be transferred to the legendary Sacred Valley, with a wonderful view of the Sacred Valley, we will reach the picturesque town of Pisac, we will make a stop to visit this magnificent Inca city, surrounded by its local artisans and its archeological complex.
Relish a delicious multi-course lunch in the heart of the Sacred Valley. Finally, we arrive at the selected hotel.

Day3 - Sacred Valley Tour: Moray, Salineras, Ollantaytambo
After enjoy your delicious breakfast in the hotel at 9:00 a.m. your guide will pass by your hotel to pick you up, today you'll head to the fascinating display of terraces in Moray. Moray boasts three amphitheater-like terraces made by the Incas. These terraces, which are carved deep into the earth in a bowl shape, were thought to be used to determine the optimal conditions for growing crops. Then you will start your descent into a gorge where terraces, this time holding salt deposits, are visible. These salt terraces have been uninterruptedly in use since Pre Inca times.
From here you can simply see an impressive landscape, snowy mountains, agricultural fields, local people, outstanding experience. Delicious multi-course lunch in Urubamba restaurant.
Then we continue our journey to the ancient city of Ollantaytambo, after a guided tour of its main temples of this impressive fortress, hop back to the car.

Day4 - Morning Train and sunset in the citadel of Machu Picchu
Today our journey begins onboard the train from Ollantaytambo to the cloud forest of Machu Picchu valley. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes, we will first settle in the hotel, then we will have early lunch in order to refuel before ascending to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
Short ride (25 minutes) up to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, and you will participate in a guided tour, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the most important preserved Intihuatana, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows. Time to enjoy the sunset in Machu Picchu, later on, take a bus ride down to Aguas Calientes.

Day5 - Sunrise in Machu Picchu – Optional climb up to Huayna Picchu Mountain – Back to Cusco
Today the visit to the sacred city of Machu Picchu will be on your own, 25 minutes ride up by bus, and start exploring at your own pace.
Optional climb to Huayna Picchu; from where you can appreciate the immensity of Machu Picchu, even more, amazing being high and distant (included in the price): In the afternoon you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes for the train ride to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, assistance, and private transfer to Cusco.

Day6 - Cusco City Tour: The Cathedral – Temple of the sun - Sacsayhuaman – Cristo Blanco
Pick up from your hotel at 09:00am; the tour is beginning in the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, you will enter the Cathedral of Cusco, the first Catholic church ordered to build on 1559, then continue towards the Temple of the Sun (known as Koricancha) on which the Santo Domingo Convent was built. After visit this impressive holy pace, our private transport will be ready to take us head on over Sacsayhuaman fortress, from Cusco, you'll drive up the mountains for 20 minutes to reach and be impressed with the immensity of this fortress built stone by stone. Sacsayhuaman boasts impressive Inca design and artwork with massive stones over 9 meters (30 feet) tall and weighing up to 125 tons, as our last destination will be the visit to Cristo Blanco (White Christ) from here we will enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Cusco Inca City, then back to your hotel.

Day7 - Flight to Puerto Maldonado – Tambopata Reserva Amazonica Lodge by Inkaterra
Breakfast in the hotel; transfer to Cusco airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado, upon arrival to Puerto Maldonado Airport, assistance and transfer to the Port. Begin to experience the enchantment of the rainforest as you take a 45-minute boat ride along the Madre de Dios River, to arrive at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica lodge. After a short briefing, settle into your beautiful cabaña and enjoy your lunch in the dining room. Take a siesta, share a refreshing tea time, and get ready for the afternoon excursion.
After gathering with your Inkaterra Explorer Guide, choose from the 14 different excursions available at the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica. On your first day, we recommend a guided walk along the Trail system, into the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica natural area, where you will discover the Amazon Basin. This trail offers an excellent introduction to the forest environment, winding past impressive trees such as the Shihuahuaco, and the strangely beautiful strangler fig, offering excellent opportunities for bird watching and observing exotic insects.
We also recommend on the first night our Twilight River excursion — a guided afternoon boat ride on the Madre de Dios river. Witness the transformation from a diurnal to a nocturnal world: animals and birds of the daytime give way to species specially adapted to the night. As you enjoy their paradise, you will learn about their habits, while you search for nightjars, owls, capybaras and up to three different caiman species. Enjoy dinner served in the main dining room from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. After dinner, you may retire early to your own cabana, or share your experience in the rainforest with other guests and interpreters, as you listen to the intriguing sounds of the jungle at night.

Day8 - Tambopata Reserva Amazonica Lodge by Inkaterra
Wake up late or rise early — the choice is yours. Breakfast begins at 5:30 a.m., for those who want to avoid the heat, and enjoy nature at its fullest. A full buffet breakfast is served from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. During the morning you may visit the Lake Sandoval excursion into the Tambopata National Reserve. Glide in a wooden canoe, across a beautiful, mirror-like oxbow lake that is home to the endangered giant river otter, as well as red howler monkeys, red-bellied macaws, anacondas, side-neck turtles and black caimans. Return to the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica for lunch.
After lunch, consider the remarkable Inkaterra Canopy Walkway. Ascending the first tower, 29 meters above the forest ground, you begin your encounter with the treetop realm. For more than a quarter of a mile, you will literally walk through the rainforest canopy on a suspension bridge network linking eight observation platforms. During this hour-and-a-half expedition, be on the lookout for colorful toucans, woodpeckers, trogons, monkeys, and sloths. If you wish you may extend your excursion and watch the sunset from one of the towers. Once at the lodge, enjoy the daily nature presentation in the Eco Center and the Happy Hour. Dinner starts at 7:30 p.m.

Day9 - Tambopata Reserva Amazónica Lodge by Inkaterra
Enjoy a trip to Gamitana Creek, located 25 minutes by boat from the lodge. For one and a half hours, explore the rainforest along the banks of a winding, dark-water creek that is home to many piranha, caiman, turtles, and birds, until the Sanipanga landing point. Navigate your way back downstream, observing the abundant flora and fauna along the way. You will return to Gamitana Farm to do a short guided tour to see how local farmers grow fruits and vegetables. Return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, enjoy the Hacienda Concepcion excursion, with over 200 different plant species, and learn about the uses and benefits of local flora. This is followed by a 30-minute canoe trip to look for turtles, sun grebes, nightjars, and exotic herons. Return to the lodge.
Then consider the Rainforest by Night excursion through the Inkaterra Ecological Reserve at night for an approximately 2-hour excursion. Venture into the forest and experience the mystery of the animal activity that awakens in the rainforest after dark, enhancing animal resources to create new adaptation mechanisms. Listen to nocturnal forest sounds and spot species that only emerge at night. Return to the lodge.

Day10 - Tambopata Lodge – Flight to Lima
Enjoy a full breakfast before departure. A 45-minute return trip by boat on the Madre de Dios River takes you to Puerto Maldonado, where you will visit the Butterfly House. Peru boasts the greatest variety of butterflies in the world, with 3,700 known species. Many of these can be seen at the Butterfly House, a showcase for the variety, beauty, and adaptability of these fascinating insects. Then Transfer to Puerto Maldonado Airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima, assistance, and transfer to your hotel in Miraflores.
