Day 1 – International Arrival in Lima
Arrival in Lima; our representative will assist you with a customized sign with your name and private transfer to your hotel; there are no planned activities – Overnight in Lima Hotel
Note: when booking your flight to Lima, try to arrive between 3 to 10pm so that you have time to arrive in Lima, transfer to your hotel and have some rest before your Peru Tour next day
Day 2 – Peruvian Cuisine: Local Market Tour – Cooking class – 4 course meal
Pick up from your hotel at around 09:00 am, in company of your guide you will visit the local market in order to learn about the variety of products and ingredients we have in Peru, then you will continue directly to the restaurant where the specialist chef will be waiting for you.
Around 11 am you will start with your cooking class, this class can be done vegetarian and vegan on request.
1st Course: CAUSA RELLENA (Mashed potatoes with lime and mild chili paste stuffed with chicken and avocado)
2nd Course: CEVICHE (Cured fish salad with corn and sweet potatoes)
3rd Course: LOMO SALTADO (Sauteed beef, onion and tomatoes with rice and yellow potato fries)
4th Course: PICARONES (Fried pumpkin – sweet potato dough with molasses)
Tour will finish at around 2 pm, then afternoon free to relax – Overnight in Lima Hotel
Day 3 – Flight to Arequipa and Free afternoon to relax
After breakfast in the hotel pick up and private transfer to Lima Airport, to take the flight to Arequipa. Upon arrival to Arequipa and private transfer to your hotel in the city center.
Today you will have the whole afternnon to explore Arequipa by yourself or take an afternoon city tour with us, for this additional tour let us know as minimum 4 hours prior to the departure please, tour begin 2 pm – Overnight in Arequipa Hotel
Day 4 – Arequipa to Colca Canyon with Overnight
In the morning at the scheduled time you will be picked up to continue the journey to Chivay. Early into the tour you will feast your eyes on the magnificent views of the Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu volcanoes as you draw near National Reserve of “Pampa Cañahuas”. Upon reaching the reserve you can witness the wild Vicuñas in their natural habitat.
From there we move on to Pata wasi (3800m/12460ft) where you will take pleasure in the natural rock formations with the Misti and Chachani volcanoes behind you. We will ascend further to a mountainous and splendid 4500m/14,760ft. height, passing “Tocra” on the way. The “highlight” of the tour will be “Pata Pampa” where you will stand at 4820m/15,810ft. Approaching the Chivay town (3651m/11,978ft.), you will be amazed at Colca Valley’s multicolored terraces – Overnight in Chivay

Day 5 – Colca – Condor Cross – Bus to Puno
The second day in Colca, after breakfast we will drive to Cross of the Condor, where you can see the largest Andean flying condors (largest in western hemisphere). Then we will move on to visit Colca Valley in Cruz del Cóndor. This is the second deepest canyon on earth. Along the way back to Chivay we will have the chance to see the town of Pinchollo; as well as the “Antahuilque watching point” to view a marvelous terrace built 1500 years ago by the Collagua civilization. Another stop over will be at viewpoints “Choquetico” and “Tumbas colgantes” which means ‘hanging tombs’.
Our tour will progress with visits to the towns of Maca (shaken by earthquake in 1991) and Yanque where you can see the most beautiful church of the valley. After arriving in Chivay again you can enjoy a hearty lunch at a local eatery. After we will take the bus to Puno journey will take around 6 hours. Day 6 – Puno – Uros Islands – Taquile Island – Luquina Community Homestay
We depart early by motorboat. About 45 minutes later, we will arrive at the reed banks of the Lake Titicaca National Reserve. There, we will visit two different floating islands; man-made platforms built with totora reeds. We have the opportunity to step on them, observe the houses from inside and out, and even take a ride on a reed boat with one of the local fisherman. It is amazing to see an entire floating village with its thatched reed roofs. From there, we will continue 1.5 hours to Taquile Island. Along the way, we will have some Aymara language lessons & more. We will arrive at this unique place in the most secluded section of the island. Apart from it being the least visited sector of Taquile Island, there is also a pristine sandy beach to enjoy.
Then will have at least 3 hours to explore this paradise including a 1-hour soft and gradual hike along a pre-Inca pathway with breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, while members of the community show us their dances, textiles and other unique cultural expressions. Later, about 1:45 pm, we hike to the main port and descend some 500 steps down to the dock. At around 2:30pm we depart to continue our journey to the Luquina community on the Chucuito Peninsula. There, we are welcomed by the friendly inhabitants and accommodated in a local family home stay. Take some time to learn about the local culture and in the late afternoon there is an optional hike to the top of a nearby hill for an unforgettable Titicaca sunset. After dinner enjoy a small celebration with traditional music and dances. Day 7 – Luquina Community – Puno
Have breakfast at your home stay and spend the morning learning about daily life at Lake Titicaca. You may help take the sheep or cattle out to graze or garden if the season is right. You can take walks, hikes or just a rest by the shores of Lake Titicaca. After a delicious lunch, you will return to the port to catch your boat back to Puno – Overnight in Puno Hotel

Day 8 – Bus Puno to Cusco with Guided Tour
Breakfast in the hotel and private transfer to the bus station, bus depart Puno at 06:45 am, then enjoy the landscape while traveling by bus to Cusco.
Along the way you will stop in la Raya to take a short break, and enjoy the view to the snow mountain, and also we will stop in Sicuani town for our lunch in a local restaurant.
Two more interesting places to visit still await us on this trip to Cusco, we visit Raqchi the Wiracocha Temple and have the guided tour, then Andahuaylillas chapel, known as the Sistine Chapel of América, finally at around 5: pm arrival to Cusco and private transfer from the bus station to your hotel – Overnight in Cusco Hotel

Day 9 – Walking Cusco City Tour: San Blas – Cathedral – Temple of the sun – San Pedro local fruit market – Sacsayhuaman
Pick up from your hotel at 09:00 am; the tour is beginning in the neighborhood of San Blas, with its artisans. Then you’ll go down the narrow stairs of Hatun Rumiyoc Street where the Palace of Inca Roca is located. On its walls, you’ll discover the figures of a puma and a snake. Also, be sure to observe the famous stone with 12 angles, the perfect image of the Incan architectural perfection. Continue on to the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, you will enter the Cathedral of Cusco, the first Catholic church ordered to build on 1559, then continue towards the Temple of the Sun (known as Koricancha) on which the Santo Domingo Convent was built. After we will visit San Pedro local fruit market; here you’ll learn about the market’s history as you explore rows of local produce, colorful fabrics, flower vendors and shaman stalls; see the real life of the townsfolk. Finally, the tour ends with your visit to Sacsayhuaman fortress, from Cusco, you’ll drive up the mountains for 20 minutes to visit this impressive archeological site. Continue on to the famous park of Sacsayhuaman where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Cusco, Sacsayhuaman boasts impressive Incan design and artwork with massive stones over 9 meters (30 feet) tall and weighing up to 125 tons, then back to Cusco – Overnight in Cusco Hotel
Day 10 – Sacred Valley Tour: Pisac – Organic Lunch in Sacllo community – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes
Pick up from your hotel at 08:00 am, then you will continue to the picturesque town of Pisac, in about 50 minutes driven we will arrive to this town, short ride 25 more minutes up to Pisac archeological site. Here you will participate in the guided tour, visiting all its holy places including terraces, aqueducts, paths that are associated to walls and gates, water channels, cemeteries, bridges, etc.
After we will continue to Pisac local Market where you can purchase beautifully crafted products hand-made by the locals, on the way to Ollantaytambo we will stop in Calca town and take a detour to visit Sacllo community to meet with a local family, where a member specialized in organic agriculture will explain to you all the process how to prepare the land, till to harvest, here they produce different types of organic vegetables to their own consumption and also to provide just to selected restaurants in Cusco. This family support to another communities around, training them to promote and produce more organic products. Here we will have our organic lunch with this local family, then our next destinations will be the remains of Ollantaytambo Fortress and the Temple of the Sun, a mysteriously built structure with massive 12 foot (3.5m) tall stones. In the afternoon we will take the train to Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu town – Overnight in Aguas Calientes Hotel

Day 11 – Machu Picchu Tour – Back to Cusco
Excursion to Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes, short ride (25 minutes) up to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, and you will participate in a guided tour, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the most important preserved Intihuatana, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows.
Optional climb to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain; from where you can appreciate the immensity of Machu Picchu, even more amazing being high and distant (not included in the price): In the afternoon you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes for the train ride to Ollantaytambo.
