  • Day2 - Cusco Walking Tour: San Blas – Cathedral – Temple of the sun – San Pedro local fruit market - Sacsayhuaman

    Pick up from your hotel at 09:00 am; the tour is beginning in the neighborhood of San Blas, with its artisans. Then you'll go down the narrow stairs of Hatun Rumiyoc Street where the Palace of Inca Roca is located. On its walls, you'll discover the figures of a puma and a snake. Also, be sure to observe the famous stone with 12 angles, the perfect image of the Incan architectural perfection. Continue on to the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, you will enter the Cathedral of Cusco, the first Catholic church ordered to build on 1559, then continue towards the Temple of the Sun (known as Koricancha) on which the Santo Domingo Convent was built. After we will visit San Pedro local fruit market; here you'll learn about the market's history as you explore rows of local produce, colorful fabrics, flower vendors and shaman stalls; see the real life of the townsfolk. Finally, the tour ends with your visit to Sacsayhuaman fortress, from Cusco, you'll drive up the mountains for 20 minutes to visit this impressive archeological site. Continue on to the famous park of Sacsayhuaman where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Cusco, Sacsayhuaman boasts impressive Incan design and artwork with massive stones over 9 meters (30 feet) tall and weighing up to 125 tons, then back to Cusco

  • Day3 - Sacred Valley Tour: Pisac – Organic Lunch in Sacllo community – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

    Pick up from your hotel at 08:00 am, then you will continue to the picturesque town of Pisac, in about 50 minutes driven we will arrive at this town, short ride 25 more minutes up to Pisac archeological site. Here you will participate in the guided tour, visiting all its holy places including terraces, aqueducts, paths that are associated with walls and gates, water channels, cemeteries, bridges, etc. After we will continue to Pisac local Market where you can purchase beautifully crafted products hand-made by the locals, on the way to Ollantaytambo we will stop in Calca town and take a detour to visit Sacllo community to meet with a local family, where a member specialized in organic agriculture will explain to you all the process how to prepare the land, till to harvest, here they produce different types of organic vegetables to their own consumption and also to provide just to selected restaurants in Cusco. This family support to other communities around, training them to promote and produce more organic products. Here we will have our organic lunch with this local family, then our next destinations will be the remains of Ollantaytambo Fortress and the Temple of the Sun, a mysteriously built structure with massive 12 foot (3.5m) tall stones. In the afternoon we will take the train to Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu town

  • Day4 - Machu Picchu Tour – Ollantaytambo Town

    Excursion to Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes, short ride (25 minutes) up to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, and you will participate in a guided tour, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the most important preserved Intihuatana, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows. Optional climb to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain; from where you can appreciate the immensity of Machu Picchu, even more, amazing being high and distant (not included in the price): In the afternoon you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes for the train ride to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo station, private transfer to your hotel.

  • Day5 - Ollantaytambo – Salineras – Moray - Native Inca Textile Tradition – Cusco

    After enjoy your energetic breakfast in the hotel, your private guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will visit the impressive Maras salt pools formed by water emerging from the ground, here we will learn about ancestral techniques, which are still used, in agricultural, irrigation and salt recollection tasks, then the next destination to explore is the Inca agricultural experimental center of Moray. Famous for its sunken amphitheater, made up of four circular terraces, which appear to disappear into the earth like an artificial crater. The site was apparently an Inca agricultural research station designed for experimenting with crops at various altitudes, from here your private transport will take you to Taucca community, nearby Piuray lake in Chinchero village, where a group of family will be waiting for you with an organic traditional lunch. After lunch be part of the inca textile experience and learn about the dyeing and weaving process, you will have a live demonstration, about the techniques of traditional weaving using natural plants, roots, seeds, leaves and insects to dye the alpaca wool, also you will be able to have a weaving lesson to learn the basic structure of weaving, finally, our transport will take us back to Cusco.
